Linux Interact With Windows Mobile?

I want to go and use Linux instead of Windows but I'm concerned with how I'll get my phone to interact with the new OS. Has anyone made a connection between a Linux PC and a phone running Windows?

Try here, a google for "linux activesync contacts calendar" and similar searches pulls back a lot of other links.

Part of the problem is that there isn't a commonly accepted sync standard. ActiveSync is heavilly integrated with Outlook in order to do what it does, and plugging it into other email systems is a bit of a challenge. But it has been done.
