it says that its available in the file manager but i cant find it, i thought i would be added to "beam" but that only shows IR.

You need to have bluetooth turned on from the bluetooth menu, and then bluetooth devices will show up in "beam"

many thanks, i have managed to find that, but are you able to sent TO the phone as im getting the following "service file transfer is not found on device i-mate sp5m"

I dont own an SP5 but is there any option to tick a box sayin "recieve incoming beams"? this may be the problem

Thanks for the info. I was having issues with people trying to send me files over bluetooth, and didn't know why it never worked. After checking the box in the Settings -> Connections -> Beam "Receive incoming beams" my bluetooth receiving files works.

Good job by you. There wasn't any kind of tick box I needed to enable bluetooth for my last phone, and had no idea what was wrong with this new (to me) cing 2125. Thnx again.
