Guest RonRosenberg Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 This one's a puzzler. I've used both bluetooth and wired headsets on my 2125 with Cingular. Yesterday, I used the phone without a headset and when it connected, I could not hear the other party, and they could not hear me. I did soft resets, changed profile to Normal, and everything short of a hard reset, all to no avail. Anyone had this problem? I'm on the road and I'd like to avaoid a hard-reset if possible. Any ideas?

Yes, checked it in Profiles, and with the volume toggle on the left side. No change. It seems like it's stuck in the Headset profile, even though there's no headset connected and it's set to the Normal profile.

Don't know what's wrong here, but just thought of another thing to try: the speakerphone. May be going to speakerphone mode and coming out will save the day. Also try playing some music with WMP and see if you can hear anything...
