Guest rookie1082 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 I just installed the MacOS theme along with the 2 plugins and it looks great. However, when you go into the start menu, the background is very light and the text of the start menu folders is white, making it extremely hard to read. I'd rather not change my background image in the start menu, but rather just change the font color. Anyone know the registry value or what i have to do to change the font color of the start menu? Thanks in advance.
Guest pavankp Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Anyone? I think the start menu font size and color are used from the color scheme defined in the home screen. I don't know for sure which particular COLOR_xxx is used for font color, but I am fairly confident it comes from there. The font color you are actually seeing could be defined in one of three places -- the default color scheme, your chosen color scheme (if you have something other than Default chosen Settings->Home screen->Color scheme) or the colors in the homescreen XML file you are using. In order to find out for sure, you need to play with some of those text colors in your color scheme XML and / or home screen XML. With some experimentation you should be able to figure out which element does the trick. Sorry I don't have a simple and definitive answer for you :).
