What's the best mapping software around?

Hi all.

I've been looking for a mapping program for my M2000. I've tried MS PocketStreets and it works fine in some ways, but it has a very anoying UI in that you have to zoom right in to see street names. Also, it doesn't let you to (for example) give two points on the map and have it draw a route between them.

Any suggestions? Preferably ones with a "try before you buy" thing. And not one where you have to connect to GPRS to get the maps.
