Backup before Replacement

Hi,

My phone is getting replaced tomorrow because the joystick keeps refusing to go down.

Is there any way I can do a backup so I dont have to re-install everything?

I am also particularly interested in backing up the call history and SMS messages.

There is no backup tool like the Pocket PC, and the Backup function in ActiveSync seems to be disabled when the C600 is sync'd.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Get Sprite Backup. There is a beta already for WM5 smartphone devices. It can be found here:

Remember though, you can only restore backups to the same ROM version that you backed up. So when you get the new phone, upgrade it to the ROM version that you are on right now.

That sounds great - i'll give it a try, but I just went to that forum and there is a thread saying it doesn't work with Orange phones :)
