Set up an adhoc wifi network with my laptop to share net access?

Is it possible to set up an adhoc wifi network with my laptop?

i have a wired network at work but no wifi...

but my laptop has inbuilt wifi...

so can i use the laptop as an acess point for my shiney new m600 to connect to and through to the net? say if i share its internet connection?

Any ideas?
