I can't sync my phone!

I own a SPV C600.I used to be able to connect my phone to my pc without a problem until a couple days ago. Now, no matter what I do, ActiveSync doesn't detect my device. I tried everything: I reinstalled ActiveSync, I upgraded to 4.1, I reinstalled Windows XP, I borrowed my friend's bluetooth device for pc and I reset my phone. And it's the same thing. Worse, after I reset my phone I can't even use the 'Sync via Bluetooth' option (or any other) b/c all I see on the screen is "To sync with a desktop computer install ActyveSync on your computer and then connect this device. If your company supports syncing directly with its Exchange Server you can set up your device to sync with it."

I also tried connecting the phone to my dad's laptop using my dad's cable, and the exact same thing happened.

Can anyone tell me why this happened or if I can fix it in any way?

PS. I am starting to run out of memory on my SD card, and that really is my biggest problem of all, because I can't transer anything from my phone to pc or viceversa

Have you done all the correct settings in your phone and in your computer? i`m sure it`s fixable! i had this problem, try to check if the `USB mode is selected in your phone, and that the name of the computer you are trying to connect to is correct in your phone... I don`t know what to tell you! try those things... Good Luck!

Hi again! Also, if you have the possibility to use Bluetooth, try reading the topic about ActiveSync and Bluetoth connection, here at MoDaCo, in Smartphone Help and Advice, the first topic, you can`t miss it!

Thanks for your help! I did what you said and nothing changed. I'm taking it today to an Orange service and see if they know what to do (they should, it's their phone <_< ).

I hope they can fix it, and that your problem will be solved! By the way, after they fix it, ask them what the solution was, maybe you can help other users in need!

the only real option is to use the usb switch application , but unless you have a card reader on the computer you cannot get it to the phone , this small app works a treat without any tweaking of the phone or computer :)
