HTC repair service

Can anybody tell me how much it costs to get your phone looked at by HTC??

My M500 has stopped showing the lovely operating system and is just showing loads of lines all across the screen, the trouble is that it has been in bits before, thanks to the instructions on this site, to cure a speaker problem, so is out of warranty.

Has anybody here sent a phone for repair? and would mind sharing some prices?

Start to book it in at www.htceurope.com, tick 'damaged / misused' and get a quote.

Don't think it'll be cheap though :-(
