XDA IQ, Sim unlocked, App Unlocked, and overclocked :)

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to say thanks for all the info around, I managed to successfully after 6 hours of cruising the web, trying crusing the web trying and so on, Sim unlock, App unlock and overclock my XDA IQ to 264mhz, and it flies now. Just benchmarked with TCPMP with a video:

Average speed: 1047.99%

Benchmark Frame rate: 157.20

Bencemark Data Rate: 1.2Mbit/s

Original Data Rate: 111kbit/s

menus are much much quicker etc

I have one, got it on the 9th June by contract upgrade. Location wise, Cornwall, UK.

I believe if you call o2 direct sales they have a few on stock at the moment, as a couple of people I know have ordered one.

Just stumbled across this thread (and the site) and have read the first post with interest as I am also an IQ owner (and find it a bit on the slow side). Never thought I'd be able to o/c it, though so will go off and investigate forthwith.

Thought I'd post anyway just to point out that I too received the IQ as an O2 upgrade direct but they only offered it to me when I asked for my PAC code. Until then they denied all knowledge of it, one person claiming it wouldn't be available until December...

(In fact I've had two now as the first was delivered with a faulty earpiece).
