Hotmail Email

hi, is there anyway i can configure a hotmail.com account to be used as my primary email account? I've currently got it set to my ISPs email account and that sends and receives emails perfectly when connected to my home wireless network but that email account won't work when I'm connected to the internet elsewhere as it's configured to only work from an internet connection from my home phone line so it's no good when I'm out somewhere.

If I could access my hotmail account then I could have access to sending and receiving emails while I'm out. I know I can visit hotmail.com but the wireless connection at work is very slow so it takes agaes to actually get a webpage up so it''l be easy to actually send them from the m2000's email software.

Any ideas that would help me out? Would I need optional software?
