Guest bbrockie Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Hi folks I'm not sure what has caused this, but the first few weeks when I first had bought the phone, I could use the keyboard shortcuts 0-9 to select menu items from the Settings menu. Now they have been changed to: "A Phone" "B Sounds" "C Profiles", etc.. Before it was something like: "1 Phone" "2 Sounds" "3 Profiles", etc.. Does anyone have a solution to this? :)
Guest Vpp20 Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 This happens when you pair your Tornado with SonyEricsson phones by Bluetooth. Simply remove SE phone from the list of paired devices, and switch your 8310 off-on. All numbers will be back.
Guest bbrockie Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I found the following solution by searching all day through the forums :) In the Registry, goto: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell Change the HasKeyBoard value to 0 (mine was set to 1) Reboot phone, (power off, then on) and everythings back to normal :)

Thanks for your help Vpp20 :) I read someone else trying to do that, so I thought it could be my Thinkoutside Bluetooth keyboard, so I deleted it from paired devices and rebooted, but as the problem was still there, I tried to change the registry, with success :)
