Hi. How can I use mp3 file as ringtone? User Manual of my qtek 8300 says that only wav mid and wma formats can be used.

Try placing the file you want to use in themain Windows folder.

I do not have an WM5 phone but it should work without a problem.

you can do it by copying the .mp3 file in \application data\sounds folder through active sync.

You could just use RJV tonesetter and put the ringtones wherever you want. It doesn't support contact ringtones so if you want to use custom ringtones for contacts those have to be in the application data\sounds folder.
