Musci won't play through headphones on c550

Hi All

I have just decided to buy a nice big fat mini sd card so I can m,ake use of the music player on my SPV C550. However, after finding my headphones that came with the phone, I plugged them in (phone automatically came up as being in 'headset' profile) and went to play one of the songs that I have on the phone. But, for some reason the music was playing out of the phone speaker and not coming through the headphones. I have used the headphones before (allbeit ages ago) and everything was fine. I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere that I have inadvertently changed somewhere along the line!

Any help would be appreciated

sorry to reply to my own post but I have just noticed something..............the headphones ARE working but the music is playing throught the phone speaker AS WELL as the headphones! Not really an ideal situation to have in a public place!

So does this shed any more light on the situation?
