just a heads up regarding TomTom mobile 5.

Have found, with more than one handset that, if you have TomTom mobile 5 installed and use the SPV services application unlock, it will force a change in device code due to additional changes it makes to your registry... it also seems to produce a false imei to the orange securioty tool????

This means a new activation code is required.

TomTom sometimes give you a new code (based on the premise u simply bought a new handset) but they seem to loose interest at this point... try it with different handsets and compare the device codes... you'll get the idea.

Regardless of this... all is not lost... i re-flashed my rom with the one i had installed when i bought ttm5 and put it on and it gave me back the device code i registered my tomtom with...phew.... :)

The moral is, get your phone to the state you are happy with before installing your tomtom or you could end up with
