I am currently debating whether to buy a C600 or not, i have read some reviews and they say that the phone is great but the camera is really poor, so anyone on here who has a C600, is the camera any good or not? Also what are your opinions on the phone? I dont know if to buy a C600 or wait till the C700 comes out.

I dont like it its bigger then the C500 + the camera is poor, no wifi etc etc.. even the new HTC Breeze doesn't seem to be good and the next phone after the Breeze is still MONTHS! away!

Upgraded my C500 to a C600 but couldn't get used to the tiny nipple joystick. Kept depressing it when wanting to move L or R, so sent it back. Have gone back to my C500 which feels much more solid.

I agree that the joystub is annoying but there's no way I could go back to the C500's inferior screen.

The range of third-party applications available could be better but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it.

I upgraded from a c600 for no good reason other than I could do it for free. If you are paying money I would stick with the c500. Before I got the c600 I upgraded my c500 to windows 2005 which made a huge difference. after that the difference is minimal. It is slightly faster and the screen is much inproved. it depends on what you are doing.

I was fortunate enough to be able to get a 'free' upgrade from my c500 to the C600.

I much prefer my c600, a lot of the niggles of the c500 were gone and the screen is fantastic especially for videos. And I prefer the joystick...once I got used to it.

To be honest if your main reason for a phone is the camera, I would look around at other phones with higher resolutions and even auto focus. The c600 is not the best in that department.

Good luck!

Recently upgraded to the c600 for the c500 for the main reason it was free - oh and also it ended up in a pint of lager so it never really worked the same after that !!!. Much more impressed with the c600 - i dont use alot of the features just handy being able to sync your contacts with outlook cause im prone to losing many a phone. camera is nae great but its ok - best smartphone i have seen to date.

I do prefer it over my C500, although I somehow keep getting + signs in my text messages because my fingers are too fat.

I tried my C500 again recently, and although it feels heavier and better quality, the screen looks tiny.

Just got hold of an I-mate SP5m and it is way better than my old Qtek 8010. But you don't buy this phone for its camera functions.. Who buys a mobile to take pictures anyways? It's good enough to take a picture at a "Kodak Moment", but if you want to take pictures from your best friends bachelor party you use a REAL camera, not a phone! :) Even the "best" 3-4 megapixels mobile cameras with autofocus from nokia and se are beaten by four-five year old plain digital cameras..

But if the C600 hasn't got wifi, don't even consider it :)
