Fellas, a lot of help needed here. Flashed the rom some time ago for the asian version. Everything hunky dory. Recently left the phone on in my pocket and 2 days later it had discharged and neeeded recharging.Since then media player won't play mp3's. Even rebooted the phone, changed settings to English. Friend blued some mp3s to me, same problem exists. What can a fella do??? :)

Did you try converting them to WMA? it sounds better and takes up less space - and works with the mpx220. for videos I've only been able to put .avi files on it though. There's a music player app that handles all sorts of files but I can't find it right now. :[

TCPMP is the music player app imforpbj is thinking of, and while it will indeed play mp3s it doesn't solve the problem. Neither will converting them all to wma, Signaller didn't ask what format would work the best, they asked for help fixing a problem.

I hate to suggest it but you may want to try a hard reset, first of course you'll want to back up your data. If that doesn't work a re-flash may be in order.
