Help needed: The way photos are saved on my SPVC550

When I take a photo, the SPV creates a folder for that particular photo and saves it there. Is there a way to stop the phone from creating a new folder for each picture?

It drives you mad when you're trying to find a photo in Smart Explorer. :)
