Preventing O2 customisation

Forgive me if this is already known.

Either from new or do a hard reset. When you have gone through the initial steps of calibration etc, the home screen appears and a few seconds later the customisation process will start.

If you do a soft reset as soon as the customisation process starts, the customisation will not be installed. You will need to enter things like country and time and possibly gprs settings too.
