Strange loss of functionality

Having problems with my MPX220. On powerdown and up I lose all my SMS messages, my phone seems to hve lost the ability to receive mms (the mms menu doesn't display anymore) and I can't get GPRS to work! Grrr.

Anyone else have this problem? Assuming I have to do a factory reset but don't know how to do a backup of my system (backing up my numbers would be great!) or how to do a reset.

Please Help!

To back up your contacts use Activeaync and Outlook. Outlook is available on the cd that comes with the phone.

This will sync your contacts, calender, taks and emails etc
