Guest sweetswede Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 (edited) I have made a homescreen, to be used with different background pictures (only switch backgrounds, in settings>homescreen>background picture). I have made the upper bar transparent, so picture will show fullscreen, but it won't, it shows a blank row above or below the picture. Why is that? Is it possible to have fullscreen picture via "settings>homescreen>background picture" or is it only possible via homescreen code? Regards Edited June 18, 2006 by sweetswede

Regards You need to put your image in "\Storage\Application Data\Home\" and make sure that the dimensions are correct to be able to use your own background as opposed to the coded in one and then, yes, you do just change it in "settings>homescreen>background picture"
Guest sweetswede Posted June 22, 2006 Report Posted June 22, 2006 (edited) No it's nothing wrong with those settings. The dimenstions are correct, and the image is in home folder. I have even try many homescreen and just swapped their images via the "custom wallpaper" function in settings. It seems the custom wallpaper function is not working as it should, it's not showing the whole image, it leaves out like 20pixels (it leaves a blank row above, below, or split abow and below), so you can't use it with transparent iconbar/no iconbar. Please help! Edited June 22, 2006 by sweetswede
Guest whiteflippinjew Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Are you sure its in JPEG format? Remember, dimensions are 176x220
Guest w411y Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 (edited) He's got an 8310.. its 240x320 :) Or to fit perfect on the homescreen its 240x293 There have been others on here reporting of a blank bar either at the top or the bottom of the screen. I think the ones that had asked about were using WM5 devices. Edited June 26, 2006 by w411y
