Media Player only one speaker working with Headphones

Guys,

last night i tried to move some music over to my phone so i could use it s a mp3 player during my travel. However, i can only hear the music from the left channel, and not the right. Does anyone know what is going on?

have you plugged it in properly? :) mistakes can happen

have you also tried a different set of headphones?

Yeah, I would agree with Tech.

I've had a few headset speakers "dying" on me because of loose connections with the cable. Try playing with the cable to see if the sound comes back. If it does then you've got problems with loose wiring :)

Sounds like the cable has been "pulled" inside...calls for new cans mate

My own sister's headphones recently stopped playing in one ear. So in this case I expect the guys are right that it's a simple explanation completely unrelated to the Smartphone. Your headphones have had it!
