Unlocked spv c500 - 02 internet settings - help!

I recently started using an 02 pay monthly sim (300 free texts per month) in my unlocked orange spv c500 phone. I am going to stick with this sim but i am having problems setting up my o2 internet connection. I thought this would be no problem as i previously had a vodafone payg sim in and the phone was able to connect to the internet using this sim and vodafones settings. This has not been the case with the o2 sim.

There is a section on the o2 website to downlaod o2 internet settings to your phone, but the spv is not included in the dropdown list of phones (am guessing because it is exclusivley an orange phone) so am wondering if anyone has had similar problems and can offer me advice to fix it.

Yeah i had the same. Phoned O2 up and got the settings emailed to me. However it still does not work. This may sound like a silly question but is the O2 a zero or the letter O?

Thats the only thing i can think i have done wrong. :)
