Guest Twilight.Cruiser Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Hi There, by trying out many tools and applications (mediaplayers, explorers, plugins, extensions, patches/tweaks, games etc.) for my new WM5SP, the number of installed applications slippy raised to over twenty or thirty (this is no Problem with a 2GB SD card! :) ). Unfortunately, it seems that the windows uninstaller can't handle such amount of installed applications! :) When I'm calling "start\settings\remove prgrams", the list stays empty! After uninstalling some apps, the remaining programs turn up in the list again! Sure there are two ways to uninstall applications even the "remove program" list seems to be empty: (1) I can use MS ActiveSync for deinstallation. ActiveSync still displays the installed applications. (2) I can reenact the installation of the app to deinstall. At first, Windows tells me that it has to deinstall the previous installed application, before I'm able to install this new one; when accepting this, Windows will deinstall the prog for me. Before the new installation begins, I'm asked where to install the application. Aborting at this point averts a new installation. Et voil

[...]Ok, I think I've found a post / thread from gpcarreon describing the problem and giving a solution...: Recover your 'Remove Programs' List I'll try it out next days and hope that it'll work...! :) Edited June 28, 2006 by Twilight.Cruiser
