Lost synchronisation folder

Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but I'm sure someone here can help!

I've just updated my Vario to the latest T-Mobile ROM but seem to have done a bit of a whooopsee!

I synchronised with my PC before the update including the synchronising of files. Then ran the update which went fine. When I synchronised my phone for the first time after the update I selected that I wanted to synchronise files again, and it wiped the synchronisation folder I had on my desktop!! Ahhhhhh!

Is there any way to retreive these lost files, there are a couple that are really important!!?

Your Recycle Bin might still have them, other than that ... they're probably gone!

ouch, how nice !

ok, have you checked your recycle bin to see if the files are in there ? if it isn't already sorted by delete date you can set that to see the most recently deleted items.

Cheers guys, it's all sorted now!

The first thing i did was check the recycle bin, but no luck. Which made me think maybe the files hadn't actually been deleted. Turns out the shortcut on the desktop had been removed after the sync but the actual sync folder (in My Documents on the PC) was still there. The new sync folder simply had '_1' appended to the file name so it didn't actually delete the old files!

Whoooopeee!
