Guest Snooginsguy Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Hi y'all, Since Cingular (and HTC, I suppose) have come out with their new ROM update (finally!!!), I was curious as to how many people have switched over to it. I am running the I-Mate ROM right now, and am pretty happy with it. I'm just wondering if there is any reason to switch over, if there have been any feature upgrades, etc. I cannot seem to find any documentation as to what is included in this new ROM, so any input would be much appreciated! Also, does the Cingular ROM have all of the lame Cingular branding everywhere that I would get rid of immediately, and is there any "unsigned certificate" problem when installing programs etc.? Thanks to you all in advance!

Guest Snooginsguy Posted June 22, 2006 Report Posted June 22, 2006 After a bit more research, I came upon this thread on SmartphoneThoughts.com: http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/v...pic.php?p=73399 so based on their statements, i don't think I'll be changing ROMs...but I would still be interested if anyone has better success than these folk? I'd really like to know if Pocket MSN has been improved even a little, cause it's pretty buggy on both the original Cingular ROM and the IMate update, IMO.
