SPV C600 AKU2 Unlock

Been searching through hundreds of posts and still have not found the definitive guide.

I just got (today) my C600 (AKU2) and its locked to Orange.

I have an O2 card I need to put in - I know I need ot Application unlock then sim unlock but is there a guide for the AKU2 that works?

I have seen several reg patches that will not work on the aku2.

Could anyone point me in the right direction for unlocking phone please.

Is it worth re-flashing it with Imate rom when done, as I was only after a sim unlock?

I found my C600 (which wasn't AKU2'd) was a damn sight faster with the imate ROM. Loads more responsive and it was good to lose the orange branding all over the place too. Be prepared to mess about with lots of MMS/GPRS/WAP settings though because those are all cleared by flashing it.

Dunno if I am lazy or blind but I can't seem to find the MMS/GPRS settings guide for Orange Uk on here.

What settings did you put in after the imate flash? As I am gonna do it but wanted to make sure I new all the settings I would have to redo after the flash.

Hey if your on orange uk on pay as you go install this cab.

It enters the settings for you.
