C550 White screen problem

A few days ago i went to use my C550 but the screen had gone white. I turned it off, pulled out the battery and sim card. Put them back in and when it turned on the screen flickered loads then came on like normal. Then it disappeared and went white again. Now it is permanently. I don't know what to do. I don't have insurance with Orange. I know i know.

I was in a humis country when it happened so maybe that is it. I have left it dry for a day ow and nothing. I now have a black ink spot about half a cm across in the bottom right corner.

I have SMS to read? Can i read them through activesync??

Does anyone know what i can do?

Will i have to hard reset?

Probably..either that or a neew screen judging by the sound of that ink spot...(yes i can here it from here ) lol

How do I get a new screen? I might try to take it apart and refit it. Is there any threads for this?
