Qtek 8310 Tester ROM

Having broken the keypad on my qtek 8310 the nice people at DiscountGPSDirect managed to get me a new one (although having bein used as a tester) after Qtek UK said it was unservicable (smells like male cow droppings)

Literally just recieved it from the City Link man and his greenand yellow van i unpacked it and turned it on.

Few things ive noticed about the ROM.....

First, on the bootloader when the splash screeen is displayed i notice the words:

Tornado DVT Wifi

IPL 0.32

SPL 0.32.0000

GSM 0.19.0.0

OS.32.0.0

IU BUILD!

Test Only

It also lets you use the phone with no SIM card in the device.

OS versions etc are:

OS 5.1.53 (Build 14385.1.1.0)

Radio: 4.0.13.11_00.19.00

RIL: 2.002

Then having turned the phone off and put in bootloader, it displays:

Tornado Wifi

IPL 0.32

Tornado

SPL 0.32.0000

Tornado IU

Any suggestions about why or what this can contribute?

[EDIT: It also has i-mate bookmarks in PIE when it tell me its a qtek]

i can believe it. the screen isn't quite square with the window in th case lol so everything is kinda slanty.
