I'd like to see how much space they are taking up. ROM is 4.1.1.0

Thanks.

Go to Accessories and go to Space Maker. Then click Menu - Erase SMS - All .... it will count up all your SMS's and tell you how much memory they are taken up in Kb. Don't worry, they won't delete until another approval.

But please, provide the information where phisically these files are located! Couldn't we back up them by simply moving using some usual file manager like TotalCommander?

BTW. is there any registry tweak or whatsever what would make the system to store SMSes directly into a storage card into a user defined directory?

I was repling on how to back them up NOT where they where stored! SP studio appears on a google search any ways!

SP Studio simply creates a backup file of the messages, doesnt remove them from the phone and you can retore/backup simply and easily.

Not that i know of!
