Guest whiteflippinjew Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 When I use a corded headset and I push it into the input all the way, the sound is very low and the person at the other end can't hear me. I put it in like 3/4 the way and the sound is perfect but USUALLY the person on the other end still cant hear me. For some reason it sometimes works. Ive tried this with 2 different headsets. (None are the ones that came with the phone) Is this a problem with the headsets or is it a problem with the actual phone? Also, if I get a 2.5" to 3.5" converter for the phone, will I be able to hear sounds correctly or is the whole put in the male end 3/4 a common problem?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 You need to use a proper 4pin headset for the phone but you can get convertors from 4 to 3 pin.
Guest whiteflippinjew Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 So does that mean I cant simply just use a standard 2.5 to 3.5 converter to listen to music?
Guest whiteflippinjew Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Okay, me being stupid didnt look far enough into a search and saw that someone mentioned radio shack had a cheap one that worked fine.
