Guest BigHobson Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 (edited) I have noticed that after Wifi has been working previously, now the connection symbol at the top does not appear after enabling wifi, the wifi light flashes, but there is no list of networks in the wifi settings! Any help, I have no idea what has done this as it was working fine before? If I need to do a hard reset, how is this done and what do I loose/keep? Many thanks Pete Edited June 26, 2006 by BigHobson

Many thanks Pete I had this problem sometimes when the phone was connected with active sync to the computer, and the wifi wanted to turn itself on at the same time, creating two internet connections at the same time. The network list disappeared. I turned the phone off but still not working. I tweaked around with the connection manager, and found out that if I enabled microsoft directpush and then disabled it, and connected to active sync again, the wifi could come back again.. Try if it will work for you.. Guess this is one of many bugs in the aku2 rom... :)
Guest BrumBrum74 Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 Can you explain step by step please?
Guest flodis79 Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Can you explain step by step please? 1.Connect the phone to active sync while you still have an active wifi connection, so the internet connection through your usb will be initiated whilst having the wifi connection 2.Check if the MS Direct Push is on 3.Enable and then disable it 4.Restart phone 5.Should work now At least this is how I did it last time - but I don't know if that's the only way to do it, and whether it will work for anyone... What phone do you have?
