Remapping the volume Control

hi lve come from many years of Sony Px00 ownership, and so instinctively try to use the volume key as a sort of jog dial... in n world of internet surfing it would be a lot more convint to use this up down slider to scroll up and down... is there a way to convert this key to do this? :)
