Guest benson_uk Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 (edited) Hi, I've got an Orange SPV C600 (same as Qtek 8310) with what appears to be a faulty keypad. When I switch the phone on the keypard doesn't light up but the phone seems ok in all other respects. I've carefully taken the phone apart (its out of warranty anyway) and there's no obvious damage to the circuit board with the keypad contact points. The small white connector is firmly attached so I assume the keypad is faulty. Is there anywhere in the UK that repairs these or has anyone had any luck buying spares ? Guest Pondrew Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 I was able to get a replacement keypad board for my old SPV E200 (HTC Voyager) from member Fluffcat1. You could try him otherwise contact HTC (you can send an email through www.htceurope.com)...
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 The C600 would not have be out of the manufacturers warranty as it was only released in December. Also the Qtek 8310 is different to the C600, same basic hardware but different design and no WiFi.
