Guest scorcio Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Hi all Am having trouble ascertaining if my v1240 is working as it should regards MSFP push. Am using direct push to the device but find it's not keeping a GPRS connection open. As a result it only syncs every 8 mins which I understand is the minheartbeat time (have checked the registry on the device) I suspected firewall / TCP timeouts but the thing is we have a couple of Qtek 9100 users on the same system who do not experience any delays in the receipt of mail. Anyone with similar experiences? Push in on the the comms manager. I have applied the AKU 2 update from here. Exchange is SP2. The firewall config is error free and follows the MS Knowledge base recommendations . And the Qtek device works fine. OS 5.1.195 Build 14847.2.0.0 Any info much appreciated! TIA
Guest thermionic Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Hi, I'd guess that your SSL session is being dropped somewhere. As the 9100 devices don't have the issue then your firewall and Ecxchange servers should be okay. As a quick check, try the SIM from the v1240 in one of the 9100s, (and vice versa) I think you will find that the issue follows the SIM, in which case its probably vodafone cutting off the GPRS session. Cheers
