C550 - When scrolling or doing anything i keep getting chucked back to the home page

Hi all,

I have a orange spv c500 phone and i have a problem which i hope others have come across.

When i scroll down the contacts list i find that either coming close to the end or halfway through i get taken back to the front screen

This also seems to happen when i am look at other menus or programs.

Is there a setting or service pack i am missing?

Go to Settings-Homescreen and change 'idle disconnect' to never :)

ide disconnect = Time Out :)

When set to Never it will not return back to the Home screen untill you make it.

Yep, I prefer it set to 'Never' and then I just use the home (house) button on the phone when I want to get back to the homescreen. I hate timeouts, they strike when you least expect them :)
