C500 ActiveSync Problem

When I connect my phone to my pc, it connects, but I cannot synchronise (the option is greyed out in the menu) and I cannot Explore. (I get a message which says "Critical communication services have failed to start, try resetting mobile device and try again")

I Have tried ressetting but still does not work.

There may be an expert solution to this but I would try uninstalling / reinstalling ActiveSync.

Thanks, I tried that but it didin't work.

I have since installed Active Sync 4.1 and it seems to be ok, now.

A year late but if you're still about and read this, try removing memory card if you have one. I have a similiar problem. Removed my memory card and ended up wiped it but it got things rocking again.
