Temporary Internet files can be stored on the storage card with this little registery tweak.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\shell Folders\Cache

This will show \Storage\Windows\Temporary Internet Files etc

Change this to \Storage Card\Temporary Internet Files

Internet Explorer will place the Temporary Internet files on your storage card in the Temporary Internet File folder.

I'm using MIO GPS PDA phone, can this be done too? And how can I find the path and file that you mentioned?

Thanks

Be warned this causes issue with 6.1.

You can do it easily with the 'Card Cache' CAB in this topic!

I am now using WM6.1 on my SP5m and I'd like to know what are those known issues with "card cache.cab" and WM6.1? Is it that it simply doesn't work?

Thanks

Yup, it indeed can cause crashes. In addition, it can cause major slowdowns. See my benchmark results in my 'Web Browsing Bible'
