Right (Flamesuit on)...

Is there anybody here that has used TomTom AND Copilot live 6? Can you offer any comparisons?

The only reviews I have seen are obviously in isolation...

The reason I ask is that I have 'obtained' a copy of TomTom to try, and I love it....

I have recently moved to T-Mobile and got Co-Pilot Live 6...and I am faced with 2 options...

1. Crack open Co-Pilot Live 6 and use that instead

2. Sell my un-opened Co Pilot Live 6 on ebay / privately and buy a legitimate copy of TomTom.. / swap it, for aforementioned legitimate copy..

Your thoughts?

For usability TomTom without a doubt.

Co-Pilot has always been in second place, but depends if you think it's really worth spending the extra on TomTom after.

With TomTom you also have the optional extras of TomTom Plus and TomTom Traffic.

Well I will diagree with awarner;

I have used both, and prefer CoPilot. Its a matter of taste, they both do the same sort of things, just slightly differently. As for CoPilot being in second place - I think that is a little unfair. Some say that CoPilot is the best worldwide, others say TomTom. I can tell you that the Gumball rally use CoPilot every year!!.

CoPilot also comes with Traffic, its free for the year through T-Mobile (as you got it), the only thing TT has over it realy is the TomTom Plus stuff, which is voices and things. CoPilot has things TT doesnt, like online tracking etc.

One thing is that TomTom has been cracked, so there are a million and one dodgy copies out there, CoPilot has never been cracked which may explain why more people have used TT??

So stop rambling I here you say!

They are both very good, it is a matter of taste!

I would personally go for CoPilot, sorry awarner..... :)

If you are realy in that much of a dilema about which one, you may need to get out more :)

I would, but I would get lost! Only joking....

Not in that much of a dilema, just a cost issue....

I'll keep an eye out here for a couple of days, but based on what I have seen so far, I will ditch tomtom and go with co-pilot - the cheapest and easiest option...
