Options with check boxes have no text.

Hi,

I just got my first smartphone, a VOQ a10. I noticed the other day when I was trying to set my options in internet explorer that any options with a check box has no text description next to it, there are several check boxes in the options catagorie but the rest is just blank. Since then I've gone in to other applications where the options have check boxes and all of them are that way. I put a support question in to Sierra but from what I've read they tend not to answer any support questions concerning the VOQ phones anymore. Is there any way to fix this? I haven't done a hard reset yet because I've spent hours putting in my contacts, setting up my GPRS, and everything else, and I really don't want to have to do that again if I don't have to. Oh, and it's doing it in all applications, not just in windows applications.

I also have one other quick question in case anyone knows how to do it. Does anyone know how to add a folder in to my SMS folders. I want to be able to move msgs from certain people that I want to save to their own folder. My phone doesn't give me the option to add folders though.

I greatly appreciate any help I can get on either of these questions.

Try changing your homescreen theme. Maybe the text is there, but just the same color as the background. (example: white text on a white background). Other than that....something may be screwy. You may need to hard reset.

As far as SMS sub folders....I dont believe there is a way with the built in SMS Messaging app.

Thanx encece. That's what I ended up doing was hard resetting and within a few hours it started doing it again. I did end up figureing out what the problem was though. Apparently my phone doesn't like resco explorer.

As for the adding folders to SMS, I spent a lot of time here reading a lot of posts just to see what I could learn about my phone since I'm new to the smartphone scene and I found out that you can't add folders, but theres an app or 2 that will take over for the SMS that does let you.

I appreciate your help though.
