Guest domtee Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Does anyone know if it's possible to set the camera app to save photos onto the memory card on an Orange M600. In the options I only get the options to save to either Main Memory or Network. Is there something going wrong here or is it just me? Ta.
Guest Chiz Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 (edited) goto start>programs>camera (or however you get here). Tap the tool box looking icon, the tap "tools">"options". Select the "general" tab and select where things are saved down the bottom. I don't have the option of network in there though. EDIT: I assume you have a memory card in the device. Guest domtee Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Yeah that's what I'm doing, but I only get Main Memory and Network as options. I've got a 1GB SanDisk SD card in there that works fine with all other apps, bit of an odd one. Ta.
Guest Chiz Posted July 3, 2006 Report Posted July 3, 2006 Yeah that's what I'm doing, but I only get Main Memory and Network as options. Hmmm! Not sure why that is. Mine worked fine from the beginning. Hopefully someone else will step in and help out.

I'd go down the regedit route but the problem lies here.. The memory card is not listed in the drop down list only extendedrom and main memory
Guest domtee Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Yep I have the same problem. I have the ADATA 4GB card. I'd go down the regedit route but the problem lies here.. The memory card is not listed in the drop down list only extendedrom and main memory Yeah I've had a look through the registry now and I can there's a "Saveto" decimal value that's set to 0. But I guess if there isn't an option in the dropdown box for the storage card, then changing this value isn't going to do much. What should the storage card show up as, should it be "Storage Card" or a different label? I thought it may be something about my memory card that's causing the problem, though I've tried a Kingston 1GB card in there as well and that doesn't work either. Cheers.
Guest jonlad Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 Sorry to dig up an old thread but domtee or mavisdavis did you manage to find a resolution to this problem the same has just happened to me ?
Guest jonlad Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 (edited) I managed to get the storage card back appearing. I have resco file explorer installed and had the "Options / Add Ins Options / Show Network " set to "as 'Network' folder under 'My Device'" When changed to the other option "as 'My Network' root" the storage card returned in the camera application. Worked for me  Edited September 19, 2006 by jonlad

Worked for me  I tried this above tweak. In the sense that my network ALWAYS shows as 'My Network'. It STILL does not work for me. Anybody can help?? Its quite frustrating. TIA, -=KoolPal=-
