Bluetooth File send/receive

Hi All

I'm having problems sending and receiving files over bluetooth to normal mobile phones with my M600.

I had this problem too with my old M500 but thought it might be sorted now but it doesn't seem to be.

If I enable bluetooth and make myself discoverable, when someone tries to send me a file it fails straight away.

Pretty much the same thing happens the other way roung too. I have resco explorer which I read works so I'm going to give that a try but it's a pain not being able to receive files over BT.

Anyone any suggestions?

Try going to Settings/Connections/Beam and make sure that recieve incoming beams is ticked..

That should sort out your issue with incoming tranfers but I'm not sure why your haveing trouble sending stuff to other phones. Ive never had any problems on my M600

I always thought that incoming beams was just relevant to transfers by IR, not bluetooth as well.

I've tried sending as well and that worked ok. Maybe I was trying to send too big files before.

One more thing, can I define where incoming files go to?
