Answer phone problem

Hi all. I am having problems with my answer phone on my spv c600. I received the message deleted it and waited for the icon to disappear but it didn't so I waited and waited still stayed on the screen. I then called myself from my other mobile left another message, listened to it, deleted it and waited again still the icon is there. I even rebooted the phone please help I can't get rid of the stupid icon thing. :)

One other problem I am having this regards my C500 I have a phantom sms I have followed all your suggestions but its still there anyone have any new ideas.

Have you spoken to your phone company? I had this problem before with the c500 and Orange reset it for me. They advised me in future not to disconnect from voicemail after deleting until the symbol had disappeared on the handset.

Thanks foxcot for your reply I have now resolved the problem. As I said earlier I did wait for the icon to disappear after deletion of the message but it was stubborn. Luckily the caller called again which I ignored and they left me another message so I listened to it, deleted it and the icon went almost instantly. I wonder if it was because it was a new phone and was my first answer phone message?
