Orange M 600 Freezes

I have an Orange M 600 had it since May, worked well initially, now when i leave it and it comes out of standby the phone freezes for the first few minutes, you cant press anything on the phone then when it comes out of freeze it then will do everything that you pressed when it was frozen.

orange say this is normal and the phone is just coming out of standby, it is very frustrating has anyone had this problem.

is anyone aware of a Rom update for the Orange spv m 600

Are you using MP3 ringtones from a storage card? Some Imate JAMin users have reported that using these can slow down the phone dramatically when coming out of standby.

Some users even find the MP3's from their Storage Card are magically appearing in sounds and notifications, rings options even when they haven't played with their registry and the device is supposed to look at only the windows rings folder.

In any case, try it without the SD card inserted, that fixed one guys problem over at imateforum.com
