Restoring ringtones

I had to do a factory reset of my C550 yesterday :) Ive managed to get almost everything restored.

I had some personalised ringtones stored as wav. files. When I go to Settings, Sounds then theyre all there & I can change my default ringtone to one of my own. My problem is when Im trying to assign a ringtone to an entry in my contacts.

If I go to contacts then edit under a name and select custom ring tone it only gives me the options of the ones on the phone NOT the ones Iva added (if youre keeping up with this!!)

Am i trying to customise it in the wrong place or where should my files be kept so it works. It worked perfectly well before this reset :)

I believe u gotta put the files in /Storage Card/My Documents/ - then u should be ok but u gotta copy them over again.

That isnt working. I just dont understand why the phone is finding them in the main Settings list but not when Im trying to do it under contacts
