MSN Messenger

Hi,

I have a Universal and am on TMobile unlimited data and am trying to set up MSN Messenger so that it stays logged in all the time - but it keeps logging me out.

I have the registry hack which keeps GPRS on all the time and have added insmsgr.exe to my startup folder so that when I soft reset the phone MSN messenger automatically starts up. But occasionally I find it has signed me out inexplicably.

Anyone know a registry hack or similar to keep you signed in at all times?

Not sure how to fix it but I have found exactly the same problem with my MDAC2.

On 2003SE I could stay logged in all day no problems but I find I get kicked off with WM5 :)

I know this thread is old, but just wondering if anyone knows anything new about this?

I also set my GPRS connection to always on, hoping to benefit from having MSN signed in all the time in the background, so I can be contacted via that on the go.

Installed the AgileMessenger Alpha, and that manages to stay connect all the time. But using MSN Messenger (PPC2003 Free Version) after leaving it alone for like 3 minutes, it just randomly decides to lose connection and sign out.

It be cool if anyone knows a solution :rolleyes:
