Guest ShaneBoyd Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 I'm considering signing up for a service called GotVoice...has anyone heard about it? Basically it would forward all my mobile phone voicemails to my email inbox. Makes it easier to automatically check my messages during the day, while my phone is off. And seems like a good way to cut back on mobile minute charges. Any feedback about these services?
Guest xda_gangsta Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 I've heard of a similiar service but not that one specifically - it sounds better then having to check your voicemail/waste min. Hmm I also heard of a service that will convert ur voicemail into .wav and another one that would convert it to text, sorry though I don't know of any speccific companies but a quick google search should bring something up.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to see what I can find. I think I'm going to sign up for the service since it's free and give it a trial run. Anyone else have other recommendations?
Guest mcwarre Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Luckily (in the UK on Vodafone) I can download voice messages as emails. Eats my GPRS allowance though (about 200-400K per message)

Also, I found some more information about Got Voice in a TechCrunch feature - Review
