Qtek 8500 + Anycom blue BSH 100

I really love this phone but this headset is annoying me. I've only just got them as my ipaq BT stereo ones stopped charging up properly 6 weeks past their warranty and i can't source a suitable battery, and it pairs and works beautifully for the media player - until I make a call over the headset or stop using the media player for any time.

The phone then 'forgets' to route the audio from the media player to the headset, although calls go through ok, the headphone buttons then default to making calls /voice dialling / re-dialling etc so I have to be careful I don't ring someone at 3am rather than play a tune...editing the services in the pairing to re-add audio doesn't help - the only option is to delete and recreate the pairing. Pretty annoying!.

Any ideas?

Headset works fine with an sp5m.
