SMSnotify or similar app

Hi,

I have a qtek 8310 and cannot get smsnotify to install on this phone i get an error saying The program cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient permissions.

I have been using smsnotify on my last 2 smartphones which both were running wm2003se, is this a wm2005 incompatibility or does anyone know of a solution?

If i cant get it to work is there another application similar to smsnotify, i will miss the functionality of this program. I have looked but cant see anything similar.
