i hav this Orange SPV C500 unlocked handset... recently i hav downloaded few softwares like themes, notepad, wordpad & few tweaks... well ma phone has started to give some vague messges n some of the application can't be uninstalled from da phone... i want to have back up of all da Text sms's & Contacts, . also i want to reset da handset to it default state & will like to know weather resetting will Lock da cell phone to Orange network... can any1 help in this regard which softwares should i use.....

To back up contacts just use Outlook that came on the cd with the phone.

Ther are a few applications about that will enable you to back up your SMS. As for hard reset it will not SIM lock the phone again.

thanks now i hav a back up to contacts but can u tell me which applications be used to take back up of Text messages.. any particular one or some link to it..?
